Walk for The Animals: Why Your Help is Needed!
The Humane Society of Broward County (HSBC) continues to provide the highest number of adoptions in the Southeast United States . The numbers are in...for fiscal year 2005-2006, we adopted out over 9,500 animals to Broward County residents and the surrounding areas. A remarkable number indeed; however, we'll have thousands more come into our Shelter this year who will also need help -- food, shelter, vaccinations, toys, love, and most importantly, they will need us to find them a new loving home. With your support raising money for the 2008 Walk for the Animals, you will enable us to help the animals in our care.
Think about what you spend on your pet(s) in a year on food, vet visits, toys, etc. and then think about what it might cost us to shelter, feed, vaccinate, spay/neuter, etc. the hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that are in our care each and every day. This is why your help is so vitally important. Thank you for helping us do what we do! ![]()
