Pets of the Week

Hilda (ID#323906)

You may notice a lot of Australian shepherds on our website this week. I and all the others came from a breeder who recently passed away. There were so many of us that we got divided up among shelters in Florida. I’m a 3 year young, female, blue merle that is looking for a family to adopt me and give me time to adjust. Australian shepherds are active dogs and have been used in search and rescue, herding and agility. Unfortunately all my friends and I did was produce litters to be sold, so we haven’t had a chance to do all those things. I like other dogs, but may chase cats; that is the herding instinct in me. Please stop by and meet me, I may just be the perfect dog for you and your family.

Rufus (#323864)

Cute and cuddly…that’s me. I’m an 8 week old, 2 pound, solid grey fellow who is playful and silly and wants to be your new best friend. The shelter has so many felines, you can adopt two of us and pay just one adoption fee. All the pets are spayed or neutered before going home and given preliminary vaccinations, plus you get a 14 day health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospitals. You can adopt me and another feline for just $75.00. Adoptions open daily at 10:00 AM so I hope you’ll stop by!
