The Humane Society of Broward County is excited to announce that we will begin offering teacher inservice workshops in October 2011. We have lots of interesting things to share with teachers including animal-themed classroom activities and lessons, unique ways to meet character education requirements, LOTS of handouts, engaging guest speakers and field trip opportunities, the pros and cons of classroom pets and much more. A pizza supper will be served and who knows what furry, four-legged creatures might join us at the workshops!

Teachers may register for the workshops by contacting Barbara Mash at barbara.mash@browardschools.com with their personnel # and school name.
