We at the Humane Society of Broward County are so committed to the cause of ending pet overpopulation, we dedicate many of our limited resources to provide affordable spay/neuter services to the people of our community. In 2011, we spayed or neutered 12,000 pets that had homes; this does not include the animals adopted from the shelter.

We have a variety of different programs whereby we provide low cost spay/neuters to the public.

We have our Mobile Spay/Neuter Services Unit that provides spay/neuter for the public's pets. We also have programs in conjunction with private veterinarians in the community where they will provide the low cost surgery for the client. Additionally, we have an in-house program that provides low cost spay/neuter to those in need.

THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT HAS A RIGHT TO REFUSE TO PAY, CANCEL PAYMENT, OR BE REIMBURSED FOR PAYMENT FOR ANY OTHER SERVICE, EXAMINATION, OR TREATMENT THAT IS PERFORMED AS A RESULT OF AND WITHIN 72 HOURS OF RESPONDING TO THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE FREE, DISCOUNTED FEE, OR REDUCED FEE SERVICE, EXAMINATION, OR TREATMENT.

Please understand that leaving multiple messages will not result in a quicker response. We return calls and emails Monday through Friday and this is for spay and neuter appointments only.
