Make an "Adopt me!" bandanas for a shelter dog! Help shelter dogs find homes by making these adorable bandanas for them! Click here for instructions.

Have a toy drive for the animals at the Humane Society! Toys help to keep the animals from getting bored while they wait for a new home. But, the toys wear out quickly and need to be replaced constantly. Why not encourage your friends and family to donate a new toy or two? The toys that work best are: Large rubber toys for dogs, ping pong balls for cats, and small plastic cat toys with a bell inside for rabbits. Imagine how happy the animals will be!

The "Mitzvah Mutts" Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project Program is an opportunity for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah student to fulfill their project requirements by volunteering their time, energy, and creativity to learn about and help homeless animals. After completion of the activity booklet, the student will be permitted to volunteer one hour per week for a minimum of three months before their Bar/Bat Mitzvah date. Activities include but are not limited to: Pet toy drives, attending animal behavior seminars, educational activities and interaction with the shelter pets.
