Not only do they have a great selection of adult animals for adoption, but they also have kittens and puppies, even purebred animals. In fact, on average, purebreds account for about 25% to 30% of a shelter's dog population. more What the Adoption Donation covers... Each animal left at the Humane Society is given state-of-the-art preventive care. Cats and kittens are vaccinated with a booster vaccine that protects them from harmful viruses. They are also given a Treatment that protects them against heartworm disease (yes! cats can get heartworm disease), roundworms, hookworms, fleas and ear mites. more Adoption
